The YoYoJam X-ConVict was released several months after the release of the X-Con and is almost identical to its predecessor except having a different pog design and a strengthened hub to prevent the problems with cracking that the X-Con had. This strengthening of the hub made the yo-yo 2 grams heavier although play is identical. One of the highlights of buying an X-Convict is that every run (the first two Black and Red runs excluded) have different pog art, though it shares the same theme. This is the only Yoyojam yoyo (besides the X-Con)to have done so. Each pog is designed by Johnnie DelValle, this being his fourth signature yoyo if you consider the X-Con a seperate entity from the X-Convict.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and had very high expectations for it. It exceeded literally everyone of the expectations. A quick clean of the bearing and I was set. The yoyo's grinds were smooth right out of the box. Play was solid. Easily took anything I could throw at it. My new favorite yoyo. Did I mention it looks as though it's crazy wide? It is so if that isn't your favorite shape look elsewhere.
Great yoyo, buy two and love them both.

I got mine recently and love it! It has a very wide shape that I like. I would recomend that you shim the yo though, It has a slightly thinner gap then others. it has a thumb grind rim so thumb grinds are easy.Also good for normal grinds! Its a 1A heaven. I highly recommend buying one! (orange one looks awesome!)

I got this yoyo when I didnt know much difficult tricks. Of course, I played with it unresponsive. I play with it with a cleaned kk and thin yyj shims. It plays amazing. Long spins, smooth and looks nice. I recomend this yoyo for players who can atleast do a kwijibo and knows how to bind.
