YoYoJam Hitman
From YoYo Wiki
The Hitman is the YoYoJam signature yo-yo of Johnnie Delvalle. It is a slightly undersized wide butterfly yo-yo with large aluminum weight rings. It uses a large bearing and o-ring response system. After the success of the orignal Hitman a hybrid version was also released, which had a starburst on one side and an o-ring on the other.

The Hitman is most known for its appearance at the 2003 World Yo-Yo contest. Johnnie Delvalle used the Hitman to win the single A contest, in the process introducing his revolutionary style into the main stream. His style included two completely new techniques - grinding and regeneration. Although people had previously developed regeneration techniques, nobody up to that point intentionally allowed the yo-yo to stop while performing. In addition, Johnnie performed many new slack and whip tricks during his performance, making that performance particularly notable.

The Hybrid version of the Hitman is a fine yo-yo. It's shape is just right, mass distribution is good. I shaved the O-Ring and sanded the starburst down a bit. Added one thick and one thin shim. Cleaned the bearing. Plays very unresponsive. With these modifications I can recommend it as an excellent yo-yo. Definitely one of my favorites. --HB 10:29, 17 Oct 2005 (PDT)
