The Dark Magic is the YoYoJam signature series yo-yo of Andre Boulay. Designed by World Yo-Yo Contest Judge André Boulay, it has been used by many famous players to place as high as 2nd in the World Yo-Yo Contest and 1st in the National Yo-Yo Contest. The Dark Magic was designed specifically for Andre's ring grinds and featured a hybrid o-ring and starburst response system. Although it is a wide yo-yo, it does not suffer from stability issues because much of the weight in the weight rings is concentrated closer to the bearing than other YoYoJam yo-yos.

The YoYoJam Signature Series Dark Magic is designed by yo-yo master Andre Boulay. This yo yo helped Andre achieve his awesome thumb grinds. The design of the actual yo-yo and the caps are beautiful. The yo-yo came unresponsive out of the box. The Dark Magic has a great feel, and when you first throw it, it feels awesome. Super long spin times for string tricks. The only down side to this yo-yo is that the metal dents easily if it hits the ground. Great yo-yo, 9/10. --SR

This is one of the greatest yoyos I've ever thrown, although I do do a bit of personalization on the yoyo before I actually start using it, once finely tuned this yoyo is the lord of heavyweights. Don't be turned away by the hybrid response or the gap, this thing sings no matter how you play it. Toss in a few shims and sand that starburst down by about half and you've got one of the best, most unique throws in the industry. 9/10 for me. -IV
