[edit] About Me
I am 14 years old and am currently living in Colorado. I am an AP student, and I typically spend my time either backpacking in the mountains, rock climbing, playing video games, or yoing.
[edit] Yo-Yoing
I have been yoing for about 2 years now. I am a fairly advanced player, and have 11 yo-yos. I got into yoing when I found an old X-Brain in my basement. When I advanced past simple string tricks and loops, which could still be done on a brain, I went and bought myself a Freehand 2, which has been one of my favorite yos. I have since lost the old X-Brain, but it's hard to miss it. It doesn't play well at higher levels. After about a month, my brother got tired of yoing, and let me have his Throw Monkey, which I have found plays a bit better than my Freehand, since its rims give it a longer sleep time. At about the same time I got my freehand, I bought myself a pair of Speed Beetles, thinking I would give 2A a try, but they have sat and collected dust since about a month afterwards. The same is true with my Da Bomb and my Proyos. I have just in the past few days gotten a Freehand Zero, and it has become my favorite yo. my only complaint is that the edges hurt a lot more than the old Freehand 2.
I am a fairly advanced player when it comes to string tricks, being able to throw double or nothings, split the atoms, zippers, and other similar and more advanced tricks, whos' names elude me at the moment. I have been looking for yo-yo clubs in my area and have not been able to participate in any competitions, due to their locations being out of state.

[edit] Work In Yo-Yo Wiki
I have only been a member of YYW for a short time, so I have not as of yet contributed a large amount. However, I have been spending my time so far editing existing yo-yo articles to make more sense by adding information to them and putting specs into infoboxes. I also add links in articles to make it easier to find info on response systems and manufacturers.
