Spintastics Technic
From YoYo Wiki
The Technic is a modified shape fixed axle yo-yo with hard plastic halves and a starbursts on both sides. The halves can be screwed apart to change the wooden axle sleeve or to remove tangles. The fact that the axle nuts and the threaded rod are all made of steel makes this a very sturdy construction which can be unscrewed many, many times without wearing out.
Before the company was called Spintastics the Technic was originally marketed as Dale Oliver's Terminator, the ball bearing version was called the Terminator Tornado back then.
Because of the easy removal of the side caps and the low cost of caps, these are very customizable for both players and advertising. Many players and companies have used the Technic for that purpose.

The yo-yo is a great looper and also fairly good for string tricks. The rim-weighted halves make for quite long spins for a fixed axle yo-yo.
I got my first Terminator from Dale Oliver himself, when I visited him back in '97, and ever since this is my all times favorite fixed axle yo-yo, it plays extremely well, is nearly indestructible and a lot of yo for a very low price. If you are looking for a good beginners fixed axle yo-yo, look no further. --User:HB
