Over and Under is a combination of two mounts, the Over Mount and the Under Mount. It is a good exercise for beginners, as the two mounts it is made up of are fairly basic, and it is a good way of practicing both of them.

Step 1: The first part of the trick is an Under Mount. Let the yo-yo come towards you... |

Step 2: ...and let it continue around your index finger... |
 |
Step 3: ...into the Under Mount. |
 |
Step 4: Swing the yo-yo... |
 |
Step 5: ...out of the mount. At this point, stick out your middle finger... |
 |
Step 6: ...and let the yo-yo swing around it,... |
 |
Step 7: ...up,... |

Step 8: ...into the string,... |
 |
Step 9: ...and into an Over Mount. |
 |
Step 10: Pop it out of the mount... |
 |
Step 11: ...and contine once more into an Under Mount, i.e. repeat from step 1. See how many times you can repeat this. Dismount as from an Under Mount.
