Medalist

Medalist yo-yos started in the mid-1960's after Duncan's bankruptcy. Strombecker Toys bought the Duncan equipment (the name and goodwill was sold to Flambeau Inc) and continued the production of yo-yos. Although well-made, the company was not in business for a very long period of time - without the Duncan name and brand behind them the yo-yos were not very successful sellers.
As with all models from this era, the early Medalist models are sought-after collector's items, fetching high prices on sites like eBay.
