Kazuaki Sugimura is known as the most dramatic yoyo player in the world. He is the reason style points are used at contests. Member of team duncan since after the Asia Pacific yoyo contest.
In 2005 he was the 4a champ of the Japan National yoyo Confernece and placed 2nd at the Western Japan yoyo Conference
In 2006 he plaed 7th at the Asia Pacific yoyo Championship in 4a and placed 1st at the Western Japan yoyo conference and later that year placed 2nd at the Japan National yoyo Conference
In 2007 He placed 8th at the Asia Pacific yoyo Championship Once again the champ at the Western Conference then 3rd at the National Conference
