John Ando, or 'Ancho', is considered one of the best loopers in the US, and has won the 2A division of the US Nationals for two consecutive years (2004, 2005) and came fourth at the 2004 World Yo-Yo Contest. His favoured yoyo is the Yomega Raider, or in fact two of them.

John lives in Saitama, Japan, and goes to a college in Tokyo. He was sponsored by Yomega, but now is with YoYoFactory. He is also a member of Guys of Liberty. John Ando is the 2008 1A world champion.
