Holgate Toy Company is not a typical yo-yo manufacturer, rather as a manufacturer of wood toys, they produce a range of yo-yos that deviate from the traditional round shape. The unique yo-yos are protected by US patents and is produced is eight unique shapes: Triangle, Square, Octagon, Heptagon, Flower, Shamrock, Star and Heart.
