The Gear, by B.I.O. industries, is the 2nd yo-yo released from B.I.O. It was anodized with a green soft-layer, bead-blasted finish for amazing grind-style tricks. Flush mounted Kentaro pad, with a BB ceramic bearing included. This yo-yo features a slim line feel and shape, making it great for complicated string tricks. Features gear pattern around the body, and on the rim of the yo-yo.
The Gear, before releasing pointed out unforeseen "flat spots" in the edge of the rim. Although they look bad, they are actually hard to feel, when running your figure around the edge.
The Gear released date was pushed back, nearly 4 months after the pre-order was opened.
