The American Spinners Standard was the mainstay line of the American Spinners company. The Standard was a bulge-face maple yo-yo. The yo-yos were painted in several different color schemes by a company specializing in the production of paintwork for race pace cars. The bulge-face models are highly sought-after by collectors.
